My Mac Lipstick Collection

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't been able to write a blog post for the past couple of weeks I've been super busy with dance competitions and practices. Today I'm sharing with you my Mac lipstick collection, its not a very large collection but I've only recently got into Mac lipsticks and plan on adding a lot more to collection in the future. I currently own seven Mac lipsticks, one of which I'm not sharing with you in this post but will feature in my April favourites coming later this week.
Mac Cosmetics Lipsticks (L-R Viva Glam V, Hug Me, Crosswires,  Saigon Summer, Viva Glam Nicki, Plumful)

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Lustre finish in Hug Me
This is probably my favourite of the Mac lipsticks I own, it's a beautiful brown/peachy pink shade in a Lustre finish. It's a perfect nude for my light to medium skin tone, easy to apply and an overall gorgeous colour.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Lustre finish in Viva Glam V
This lipstick was my first ever Mac lipstick, I brought it especially for my prom last year. Its very similar to Mac Hug Me but is a tad more pink with a lot more shimmer.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Satin finish in Viva Glam Nicki
This is definitely my least worn Mac Lipstick simply for how neon this lipstick actually is, its definitely not a day time wear lipstick. I find the formulation of this lipstick to be quite drying making it fairly difficult to apply, a good lip balm beforehand is a must.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Lustre finish in Plumful
Oh how I love this lipstick, this is such a beautiful plum colour that would suit most skin tones. The formulation is lovely as with most of Mac's Lustre lipsticks. Being a Lustre finish this lipstick is very wearable as Lustre finishes tend to be on the sheerer side, meaning this lipstick isn't too heavy but has a lovely pop of colour.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Cremesheen finish in Saigon Summer
As mentioned in the name this is a definitely a summer lipstick, this bright orange is a perfect accompaniment for a tan. However I try to get as much wear from this lipstick by pairing it with a nude lip gloss to make it more muted for the winter months.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Cremesheen finish in Crosswires
I'm a big fan of Coral lipsticks and this little beauty is one of the best Coral lipsticks I have tried, Cremesheen is definitely not my favourite formulas from Mac but this lipstick is definitely an exception, it applies lovely and smooth with great colour pay off.

What are your favourite Mac Lipsticks?
Do you have any recommendations?

Spring OOTD

Hey Guys, this is a quick outfit of the day for you to show you what outfit I'm loving this spring. The weather is really nice at the moment in England and it's finally hot enough to wear dresses without thick woolly tights. My outfit is mainly from Forever 21  after a recent rather large order from there, I love their stuff and their prices. I apologise for the rather uninteresting background, I wanted to go to the beach to take photos (the perks of  having the beach at the end of road) but unfortunately the sea was super rough and it was really windy so the photos didn't work out too well.

What I'm wearing:
Dress: Forever 21
Kimono: Forever 21
Necklace: Forever 21
Shoes: Primark
Watch: Fossil

Hope you all have a great day!

Glossybox April 2014

Its that time of the month again, Glossybox time. After a really disappointing month last month I hoped this month Glossybox would redeem itself however I'm not too sure about this box but it is a definite improvement from last month. This months theme is Sweet Treats, not quite sure if the products really relate to the theme but I see where they are coming from. Lets just hope next month's Glossybox will be better.
Glossybox April 2014 (£10 per month plus £3.25 p+p)

TRESemme Dry Shampoo (£5.25)
This is the product this month that really stood out for me as I'm a big dry shampoo fan. I currently own the full size of this dry shampoo and whilst it isn't as good as Batiste dry shampoo I do like it and it will be handy to have a smaller version.

MonuSpa Warming Ginger Body Oil (£26 for 100ml)
At first I wasn't too sure about this product as body oil isn't something I'm a fan of. However after testing this out on my arm I am really impressed, the ginger smell is lovely, it applied to the skin nicely and left my arm feeling silky soft.

MeMeMe Beat the Blues Skin Illuminator (£5.50)
If I didn't already own Benefit's High Beam I would be excited by this product. Besides that this is a lovely product that is actually a really good price at only £5.50 I definitely recommend this as a cheaper alternative to High Beam. It blends nicely into the skin and leaves a lovely dewy finish on the skin rather than a shimmery finish.

Emite Make Up Lip Brush - L312 (£17) -couldn't find a link online sorry!
This lip brush isn't the most exciting product but will definitely come in use. Whilst I probably won't use the brush as a lip brush I will make good use of it as an eye brush for either eye liner or the outer v. This brush is lovely and soft but I definitely wouldn't say its worth £17.

He-Shi Professional Tanning Face & Body Gel (7.95 for 50ml)
Didn't I receive fake tan last month? I suppose this tube is better than the tiny little sachets I got last month. I've never heard of this brand before but it seems like it might be quite a good tan and I'm excited to try it out, even though nothing can beat my St. Tropez tanning mousse.

What do you think of Glossybox this month?
What did you guys receive?

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Being a fan of Bioderma I'm always on the hunt for a high street dupe seeing as it's not the easiest of products get your hands on. When I saw this in Boots a few weeks back I couldn't resist picking it up. I have a super sensitive eye area as I suffer from eczema around there and it's sensitive skin and hypoallergenic  claim won me over. I've been using this every night for the past couple weeks and its definitely comparable to Bioderma; a little bit of product goes a long way when removing my make up and I've still got lots of product left in the bottle. This cleansing water removes my make up really quickly and doesn't aggravate my eyes; being more available and cheaper than Bioderma this is now my favourite make up remover.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (£4.99 for 400ml)

Have you tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water?
What's your favourite dupe for Bioderma?
